April works with local governments on financial statement audits and single audits. She also has assisted several governments with different consulting projects, including administering large grants and assisting with temporary finance director roles as well as preparing financial statements, including ACFRs.

Her previous background working as a government finance officer for over a decade, allows her to understand the audit process from the client’s perspective. April loves helping her clients solve problems so they can better serve the public. Since specializing in local governments and teaching local government accounting at a local college, she’s known as someone who is not afraid to tackle big challenges and finding new and creative solutions to help clients meet their goals.
